Paris truly deserves its name of “The City of Lights” these days. Indeed, it put on its most festive clothes to celebrate the end of 2013. I have to say that we have a lot to learn from the American about christmas decorations because I’m not always crazy about ours (I’m talking about the Champs-Elysées for example). Anyway don’t worry magic is part of the experience and particularly Place Vendôme ! You can see a wonderful white carousel « Les marquis de Ladurée » and a stand where is served a delicious hot chocolate to warm up (for free).
At this moment a Tiffany‘s carriage was passing by ! What a perfect picture !
The christmas windows of the Haussman stores (Galeries Lafayette and Printemps) are always so cute (even though I still prefer the ones of Printemps). However, Galeries Lafayette has gone wild with the christmas tree : christmas tree of 20 meters of hight, hanging 4 meters above the ground and every hour the characters at the bottom come to life !
Festive atmosphere also at Le Village Royal

At the Nympheas‘ factory Christmas spirit is everywhere. They surely know how to make you live the magic !

Christmas becomes synonymous with hope, generosity and sharing. It’s the pleasure of being all together, learn again to dream et even sometimes to forgive. Let’s be honest, it’s also the gifts and festive meals (foie gras, snails, seafoods, chestnuts, capon, champagne…) let’s not be hypocritical :p.
What matters to me the most are the good memories. My best Christmas memory was 4 years ago when my grandpa talked for the first time of his childhood in Vietnam and gave us a Vietnamese lesson. One of the funniest moments of my life ! What is your best Christmas memory ?
