You reap what you sow

Test 0

To start this blog let’s go get some fresh air in the countryside and escape from the grey polluted city. Let’s go to the farmer’s market!

This place is outside of Paris and close to Eurodisney (I know you know where that is). In this bucolic setting, there is a 25 hectares of land where they grow over 50 varieties of fruits, vegetables and flowers…
As you can see from the pictures, right now pumpkin, leeks, carrots and potatoes are in season. What a great opportunity to choose my Jack O’Lantern for Halloween !

Test 1Test 2test 3

I know, it’s not the best outfit to go picking… I actually didn’t think that the mud would be an issue but I learned the hard way (good thing that my shoes are brown).

Test 4Test 6

Shirt : Comptoir des Cotonniers (old collection); shorts : Mademoiselle R for La Redoute; bag : Marc by Marc Jacobs (old collection); shoes : Minelli (old collection)

The owners also have a small market where you can buy high quality artisanal products from all around France : cheese, deli meats, poultry, milk products, biscuits, jam, fruits…

It’s so good to finally be able to eat fruits and vegetables that actually taste of something !

Test 7

A nice tea to warm up and wish you a good evening !
