What else ? Parisian coffee shops #1

blogDSCF1777

I have a confession to make : I don’t drink coffee (to my father’s great despair and mine because coffee is great for social integration)  and I’m about to present you my favourite Parisian coffee shops, WTF ?! Well, if I love coffee shops so much it’s not for the coffee obviously but for the design, the nice pastries, the American atmosphere and for the tea (so ironic I know !). Anyway I can assure you that the coffee is really good (my friends who drink coffee can guarantee it).

THE BROKEN ARM :

It’s not only a coffee shop but also a concept store founded by 3 friends (we will only talk about the coffee shop here). The food is simple but of good quality : sandwiches, salads, pastries, coffee, tea and a wide selection of good wine, cheese and deli meats. I must say that I’m really in love with their delicious cakes, the warm atmosphere (no need to tell you my love for the floor tiles !).

The Broken Arm - 12 rue Perrée 75003 Paris – Opening hours : Tuesday.-Sat. 9:00 – 18:00; Closed on Sunday and on Monday

LE CAFE PINSON :

This one is really one of my favourites not because it is 100% bio (I’m not a bio addict) but for the cosy atmosphere, the design, the cakes… It is quite big so it’s not too difficult to find an available table even during the weekend and it’s open till late during the week.blogDSCF2782

Café Pinson – 6 rue du Forez 75003 Paris – Opening hours : Monday.-Friday. 9:00-22:00; Sat. 10:00-22:00; Sun. 10:00-18:00

TELESCOPE :

Small coffee shop but cute with a very friendly owner.

Télescope – 5 rue Villedo 75001 Paris – Opening hours : Monday.-Friday. 8:30-17:00; Sat. 09:30-18:30; Closed on Sunday

TEN BELLES :

It is quite small and famous so it’s not easy to find free seats but the pastries are really amazing and you can take away your coffee.blogDSCF2628

Ten Belles – 10 rue de la Grange aux Belles 75010 Paris – Opening hours : Monday.-Friday. 8:00-18:00; Sat.-Sun. 9:00-19:00

COUTUME CAFE :

This place is perfect for real connoisseur because the best coffees are imported from different countries and are then roasted in the shop. Interior decoration looks like a chemical laboratory which I find very original (nostalgic of Breaking Bad).

Coutume café – 47 rue de Babylone 75007 PARIS – Opening hours : Monday.-Friday. 8:00-19:00; Sat.-Sun. 10:00-19:00

TUCK SHOP :

I’ve discovered this place during a meeting with Instagram girls. It was a nice international lunch : 2 girls from Singapour, 1 Australian and 1 Swedish ! In this Autralian vegetarian coffee shop we had good salads and sandwiches, even if I must say that the portions were a bit too small for me. Don’t hesitate to take a dessert as well ;)

On my to-go list I still have Craft Cafe, Kooka Boora, Café Loustic, la Caféothèque, la Petite Fabrique, Soul Kitchen, Café Lomi, Holybelly… Do you know others on Paris ?
